GAMA: The Tabletop Game Association announced the attendance numbers for Origins Game Fair 2026.
This year, Origins hosted 18,700 attendees, which is down about 2.5% from last year’s total of 19,171. The dip in attendance breaks the show’s four-year streak of yearly gains in attendance, which began after the pandemic (see “2025 Attendance Announced“). The show’s attendance still hasn’t caught up to their 2019 high number of 20,642 attendees (see “Origins Attendance Up 11%“).
Despite the marginal dip in attendance, the number of exhibitors attending the show grew from 410 to 413. The number of scheduled events also shot up from 7,810 in 2025 to 8,600 in 2026 (up about 10%). On the charity fundraising side of the event, Extra Life raised $15,000 at the show this year.
