To Release Board Game by the Inventor of Big League Chew; First Game in Modern Classics Line

The Op Games has partnered with Culls Games to release Culls, an abstract strategy game, into retail in Q3 2026.

Culls is a portable game created by the inventor of Big League Chew bubblegum, Rob Nelson. In the game, players try to align five chips on the board in a row in any direction to win.  Players will place their chips on the board in an effort to trap opponents’ chips, and create culls (a situation where two of an opponents’ chips are trapped between two of their chips).  When a chip becomes part of a cull, the player that culled the chip gets to flip it and force it out the space it was in.  This game is for two to four players and will retail for $19.97.

This will also be the first game in The Op Games’ Modern Classics line of games. Mahjong, Backgammon, Checkers, and other games (see “Mahjong Pros“) that have a more traditional feel to them have found a new audiences among middle-aged players, and Culls fits right into this group.
