Capstone Games has partnered with HUCH! for their first collaborative release, Rising Cultures.
HUCH! is a German publishing house that produces original board, card and family games. The biggest splash they made in U.S. markets was with Rajas of the Ganges in 2017 (see “‘Rajas of the Ganges’“) and later, in 2018, with Stephan Feld’s Trajan (see “‘Trajan’ Returns“). The new collaboration will allow Capstone to bring Rising Cultures into U.S. markets.
Rising Cultures is a civilization-building game where players take charge of one of four civilizations and conquer and construct their way to victory. The four civilizations in the game are the Egyptians, Persians, Romans, and people of the Abbasid Caliphate. Each civilization has its own specialized deck and unique abilities to help them conquer the known world.
This game is for two players, plays in 45 minutes, and will retail for $29.99. It is scheduled to ship in March 2026.
