Keenspot Entertainment has announced that Mark Spears Monsters #8 Winter Horrorland R.I.P. Blind Bag has 362,000 pre-orders, topping orders for Spears’ first blind bag promotion. Mark Spears Monsters #8 winds up the current story arc and has over 80 variant covers, all by Spears. In addition, 25 of the blind bags contain “25 Days of Krampus” tickets, Golden Tickets that can be redeemed for unique signed and remarqued comics. The comic will be released on December 17 with an MSRP of $5.99.
Spears first blind bag promotion, for Mark Spears Monsters: The Monster & the Wolf #1 Trick or Treat Blind Bag, had 350,000 pre-orders (see “Preorders Hit 350K”). Those bags had 13 Golden Tickets randomly distributed among then, and as of this writing, four of them have been found.
