Games Workshop announced two new rulebooks for Warhammer 40,000 11E, which will be on preorder soon.
The standalone Warhammer 40,000: Core Rules book is a portable-sized book that contains all of the basic rules to get started playing 11E games. It includes rules on each of the turn phases, battlefield terrain, stratagem use, and more. The book also comes with a reference guide for all common unit and weapon abilities. This book was also available as part of the Armageddon boxed set, but with a different cover (see “New Edition of ‘Warhammer 40,000’“).
Combat Patrol Companion is a book that contains the rules for Combat Patrol games. It also has introductory guides and background lore. The book is an excellent entry level rule set for Warhammer 40,000. Source: ICV2
