Speed Racer Vol. 2
(W) David Pepose (A) Davide Tinto
When a vengeful rival and a deadly new engine shatter the Mach 5, Speed Racer spirals into a brutal war of legacy, addiction, and redemption, where reclaiming himself is the only way to survive the road.
Speed Racer’s past and future collide when a vengeful rival armed with the unstable GRX Engine shatters the Mach 5 and forces Speed to confront the legacy of his father… and himself. As Pops steps back behind the wheel to become Speed’s toughest coach, a brutal rivalry escalates into tragedy, proving that raw speed alone can’t win every race.
But the danger doesn’t stop at the finish line: gangsters, experimental fuels, and a mind-altering drug turn Speed into a demon on wheels, pushing him to the edge of losing everything he loves. From high-society galas to races inside an active volcano, Speed must reclaim who he is or watch the road destroy him.
