Pokémon GO’s Dynamax Trails event runs Nov. 16-23, 2026, bringing back Eternatus and letting Trainers face returning Dynamax Pokémon in Max Battles, with a chance to earn Special Backgrounds for successful catches. Eternamax Eternatus will dominate Power Spots Nov. 21 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. local time; it cannot be caught, but victories award Eternatus Candy and Candy XL, while Trainers can encounter and catch Eternatus through the event’s GO Pass. The free pass offers event-themed Pokémon encounters and other rewards, with a paid Deluxe upgrade available for $4.99; players who claim Tier 1 rewards on GO Pass: Into the Wild get early access and a free Deluxe upgrade starting Nov. 14. The event also features increased Max Particle opportunities, more active Power Spots and a Nov. 19 spotlight hour with Grookey, Scorbunny and Sobble and double Catch Candy.
