Pokémon Sleep will celebrate Halloween 2026 with the Double Candy Research event from Oct. 26 at 4 a.m. to Nov. 2 at 3:59 a.m. local time, introducing the Ghost-type Pokémon Misdreavus and Mismagius alongside a new Eevee wearing a purple Halloween hat. The event will take place on Greengrass Isle and Greengrass Isle (Expert), with Misdreavus and Mismagius also appearing on Snowdrop Tundra and Old Gold Power Plant beginning Oct. 26 at 3 p.m. Both newcomers have the Dozing sleep type and the Mystical Fire (Cooking Advance S) main skill, which expands the cooking pot for the next meal and slightly increases the chance of an Extra Tasty dish.
Trainers can earn double the usual candy from their first sleep research each day from Oct. 26-30, with triple candy on Halloween, Oct. 31, and the final day, Nov. 1. Ghost-type helper Pokémon will also provide one additional ingredient, have a 1.25-times chance of triggering their main skills and receive a three-level boost to those skills when activated, while Snorlax will favor Bluk Berries. Eevee wearing a Halloween hat and Misdreavus and Mismagius will have greatly increased appearance rates, with Pikachu in a Halloween costume and other Ghost-type Pokémon, including Gengar, Mimikyu and Skeledirge, also appearing more frequently during sleep research. Limited-time missions will offer Eevee (Halloween) Incense, which becomes usable on Oct. 26 at 3 p.m., giving players another opportunity to discover the costumed Pokémon’s sleep styles during the seasonal event.
