Goldin announced their 2026 Pokémon 30th Anniversary auction, which begins October 15, 2026.
This auction offers bidders an array of rare Pokémon cards and sealed product from throughout the history of the game. The headliner card is a PSA 8 1997 Pokémon Japanese Promo Gold First Place First Tournament #1 Trophy Pikachu. This is the only copy of this card in the PSA census, and is one of the most desirable tournament promos out there. Pre-bidding on this item is already over $1 million (with Buyer’s Premium added).
Other rarities included in this auction are a PSA 10 2000 Black Star Eevee League Promo, a BGS Pristine 10 2004 Skyridge Holo #H9 Gengar, and a 2000 Black Star Holo #13 Venusaur Promo. The auction will also have a 2005 Pokémon EX Deoxys sealed booster box on the block (see “New Nintendo Retailer Merchandising Contest“).
