Avalon Hill announced Tideward, a new board game by Connie Vogelmann, is heading to retail on January 16, 2027.
In this game, players will be tasked with guiding baby sea turtles through the tides to safety. Each turn, players can perform three actions: hatch eggs, feed their turtles, or move their hatchlings. They score points based on haw they have arranged their turtles on the mat and whether or not they achieve their Tide Quest card’s secret mission. The game ends when a player gets all their hatchlings into the water; players total up their points and the player with the highest total wins.
This game is for two to four players, ages 10 and up, and will retail for $39.99.
Wizards of the Coast recently announced that WPN retailers can now schedule Avalon Hill and Hasbro Games events through Wizards EventLink (see “Avalon Hill and Hasbro Games Events“).
