The first card from a new TCG will be included in the Something Is Killing the Children #50 Cover C Blind Bag Variant, publisher BOOM! Studios announced. The publisher and nature of the TCG have not been revealed, but the image describes gameplay and depicts comic character Erica Slaughter, with art by comic artist Werther Dell-Edera. Based on the card back, the game appears to be titled Gridstorm.
Something Is Killing the Children #50, which streets next week, is a special issue that is shipping almost 250,000 copies of all covers combined (see “Almost 250K Copies“).
The property is in development at Blumhouse Studios for a live-action feature film and adult animated series (see “’SIKTC’ to Blumhouse“).
