Rebellion Publishing has added Universal Distribution as a distributor to the comics direct market in Canada and the U.S., the companies announced. Universal will distribute new releases and Rebellion’s extensive backlist. Rebellion is also distributed in the U.S. by Lunar Distribution.
Rebellion Trade and Specialist Sales Manager Owen Johnson noted the importance of adding distribution in Canada. “Canada has long-standing and special ties with 2000 AD, so it’s wonderful to know Canadian stores and readers can access this wealth of quality material like never before,” he said in a statement accompanying the announcement.
Universal will begin offering new Rebellion titles in October for December shipping.
