Rebellion Publishing is the latest publisher to announce a compact-sized collection, and it comes just in time for a big anniversary: They will launch Judge Dredd: Compact Crimes in January 2027, just ahead of the 50th anniversary of 2000AD, the comic that unleashed Judge Dredd on the world in its second issue. The series will collect all Judge Dredd cases, in order, in a new-reader-friendly format with an MSRP of £9.99 in the UK and $12.99 in the U.S. The first volume will be released on January 26 and will contain stories by Pat Mills and John Wagner with artwork by Brian Bolland, Mick McMahon, and Ian Gibson, among others.
Rebellion is now distributed in the U.S. by Lunar (see “Distribution News“). The publisher is also working with Oni Press on a Judge Dredd/Biker Mice from Mars crossover (see “Rebellion Partners with Nacelle, Oni Press“).
