Wizards of the Coast announced that WPN retailers can now schedule Avalon Hill and Hasrbo Games events through Wizards EventLink.
These board game events are available for scheduling via EventLink in the U.S. and Canada, and count towards a store’s WPN Metrics. The events can be scheduled as casual free play or organized games nights. The following Avalon Hill and Hasbro Games titles are supported via EventLink’s OP: Betrayal at House on the Hill, Cosmolancer, Fury of Dracula, Guillotine, Heroquest, Market Fresh, Risk, Sanibel, Talisman, Arschmallows, Battleship, Candyland, Clue/Cluedo, Connect 4, Crossfire, Game of Life, Guess Who, Guesstures, Jenga, Minor Details, Monopoly, Monopoly Deal, Operation, Perfection, Piggy Piggy, Priorities, Rebounce, Rook, Scattegories, Scrabble, Servd Couples, Simon, Snailed It, Sorry, Thats Mine, Tilo, Trivial Pursuit, Trouble, and Yahtzee.
The addition of these titles and board games, in general, really broadens the scope of what retailers can do with WotC organized play to bolster their WPN metrics. As an example, having a Trivial Pursuit Night or Jenga Night at a local game shop could really serve to expand traditional hobby customer bases into the more casual, pop culture gaming crowd. Casual board game events can potentially help stores attract new toy-adjacent games customers that may not walk in the store otherwise.
Wizards of the Coast also announced updates to their WPN Framework that took effect on June 29, 2026 (see “Framework Updates“).
