Titan Comics, which already publishes Conan the Barbarian comics, has struck a deal with Heroic Signatures to publish comics based on another Robert E. Howard character, Kull the Conqueror.  The first series will debut in 2027 with a creative team that includes writer John Arcudi, artist Mark Buckingham, and colorist Dave Stewart.

Howard created Kull in 1929, and the character appeared in 14 stories (some heavily rewritten) and a poem.  Marvel Comics began publishing Kull comics in 1971, starting with a series drawn by Marie and John Severin, and ran three series between 1971 and 1985.  Dark Horse Comics picked up the license in 2006 and published both collected editions of the Marvel series and new comics, including one Kull title by writer David Lapham (see “Dark Horse Adds 3 Robert E. Howard Series”).  IDW Publishing acquired the rights in 2017.  After Titan got the Conan license (see “Titan Comics to Co-Publish Conan”), they published a crossover that included Kull and other Howard characters (see “New Conan Series”).
