D&D Beyond announced another “State of the Game” panel coming this Friday, with a focus on the so-called Rulers of Ravenloft. So tune in, get a glimpse of things to come in the new book, whose early access release is right around the corner. And then stay in the hopes of getting a Darklord teaser.

D&D Has Another State Of The Game Coming This Friday

Look, I know it’s a lot of announcing the announcements today. But that’s how it goes, because otherwise you might not have enough people looking at your announcement when you actually announce whatever it is in the announcement. So you have to announce the announcement. We should just be glad they don’t announce the announcement announcement.

Soul-draining social media outreach playbooks aside, this Friday will be a chance to get a look at some of Ravenloft’s “newest inhabitants.”

“Join our friend and host Kevin Parr (Dicecream Sandwich) and Principal Game Designer Wesley Schneider, Senior Creative Lead AJ Hanneld, and Senior Game Designer Makenzie De Armas as they dive deep into the Darklords, their Domains of Dread, and shine a light on some of Ravenloft’s newest inhabitants.

State of the Game is our new flagship seasonal series to bring you a closer look at what’s coming next for D&D. Early access for Ravenloft: The Horrors Within begins on June 2, with the wide release starting on June 16.”

The last State of the Game revealed the ‘Seasonal Model’ and a look at things to come, including the Arcana Unleashed. And while we know that D&D is going to announce the big new book for the Season of Champions around Gen Con, you might get a taste of what to expect here.

So be sure and tune in this Friday for the next State of the Game!
