When and Where to Catch Summer Pokémon Animation Marathon Events
When it’s too hot to go outside, stay in and enjoy a Pokémon animation marathon.
You won’t need sunscreen for this summer activity—we’re hosting a marathon of Pokémon movies and animation episodes! From the Pokémon TV YouTube channel to Twitch, there will be plenty of places and ways to watch Pokémon episodes and movies all summer long. Whether you’re here to binge-watch or just hang out with the fellow Pokémon animation fans, it’s a great way to pass the time while you wait for Pokémon Horizons: Season 2—The Search for Laqua Part 4 to release on Netflix.
On August 8, 2025, visit the official Pokémon YouTube channel for the Pokémon animation marathon event of the summer! We’re showing select Pokémon Horizons: The Series episodes, plus a collection of other episodes from various Pokémon animation series, including Pokétoon and Pokémon Evolutions.
If you haven’t had the chance to catch up on the newest adventures of Liko and Roy, this watch party is the place for you to begin your journey. If you miss our marathon event, don’t fret—Seasons 1 and 2 of Pokémon Horizons: The Series are available to watch on Netflix.
If you can’t tune in live, you can have your own marathon with friends and family at home with a playlist of select episodes from Pokémon Horizons: The Series Seasons 1 and 2 and a variety of episodes from other series, both on the official Pokémon YouTube channel.
Throughout the summer, you can fill the space between watch parties with Pokémon activity pages! Solve mazes, word searches, and puzzles, or complete a coloring page—all featuring characters from Pokémon Horizons: The Series.
Don’t miss the final livestream of our Pokémon movie watch party series over on the Pokémon TV YouTube channel. We kicked things off with Pokémon: The First Movie in July, and continued with Pokémon the Movie 2000 in August. The final watch party of the summer features Pokémon 3: The Movie on September 5, 2025, at noon PDT. Ash, Pikachu, and friends are tasked with undoing the damage from a crystal catastrophe that was unleashed on Greenfield—and rescue Ash’s mom!
Each thrilling adventure will remain available on the Pokémon TV YouTube channel for a limited time after each premiere livestream.
