Asmodee, in collaboration with Sony Pictures Consumer Products, will release Cobra Kai, a new board game by Mixlore, into Walmart on August 1, 2023 and globally later in 2023.
In this game, players assume the roles of sensei of a dojo and prepare their students to face off against one another in the All-Valley Karate Tournament. The gameplay take place in a in two phases where players train their students and then enter them in the tournament. The player that has student reach the finals and win becomes the top sensei in the Valley.
This game is for two to four players, ages 13 and up, and plays in 30 minutes.
Asmodee’s Mixlore studio also announced Bridgerton: The High Society Game, a card game based on Shondaland’s Bridgerton series that streams on Netflix (see ” ‘Bridgerton’ Netflix Series“).
