Rebellion Publishing will launch a series of volumes collecting Alan Moore stories from the pages of 2000 AD, the company announced. The series will eventually collect all of Moore’s work for the UK weekly comic title.
The first volume will include all of Moore’s Future Shock and Time Twister stories, short stories featuring characters The ABC Warriors, Ro-Busters and Rogue Tropper, a Tharg the Mighty one-off story, Ro-Jaws Robo Tales, and “A Holiday Iin Hell,” which has never been reprinted in English.
Artists in the volume include Dave Gibbons, Ian Gibson, Eric Bradbury, Bryan Talbot, Steve Dillon, and Brett Ewins.
Moore’s first work for 2000 AD came after he submitted a Future Shock pitch, which was accepted and led to many Future Shock stories and more work to follow. Longer-form works included D.R. and Quinch, which was spun off from Future Shock stories, Skizz, and The Ballad of Halo Jones.
The Complete 2000 AD by Alan Moore Vol. 1: Future Shocks will be released in April 2026 as a 256-page hardcover at $53.99 MSRP.
