Steve Jackson, founder and President of Steve Jackson Games, is stepping down as the CEO of his company.
Jackson is stepping down as CEO to have more time to dedicate to game design and development; he was serving as the temporary replacement for Meredith Placko, who resigned as CEO in 2025 (see “Meredith Placko Resigns“). He will be replaced by Sabrina Gonzalez, who has been with the company since 2013. Gonzalez had previous served in the roles of Production Manager and Production Artist; she has also been on the SJG Board of Directors since 2021.
SJG will also promote Allison Page to the position of COO. She moves up from the role of SJG’s Managing Editor, which she has held since 2023.
