Bandai announced First Combat, the first large-scale tournament event for Gundam CG.
This first official OP event series will take place over the month of August 2025 after the launch of the game in July 2025 (see “Anime Licenses in Games“). The first events for this series have been scheduled to be held at Gen Con 2025. The events will run for three format types: 1-on-1 Constructed, 1-on-1 Sealed, and 2-on-2 Constructed. The sealed format will consist of players building decks with a starter and four booster packs, and the 2-on-2 Constructed format is essentially a two-player team format.
Prizes for these tournaments include a participation card, Challenge Finalist cards, and a Challenge Winner card for the champion of each tournament.
