New events and content are continuing to be announced for Pokémon GO on a regular basis. Read on below to learn more:

Enjoy a variety of event bonuses as you search out a plethora of Pawmi in Pokémon GO.

Pokémon GO’s May 2025 Community Day gets electric with the Mouse Pokémon from the Paldea region, Pawmi! On May 11, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, Pawmi will be scurrying through the wild more frequently, with lucky Trainers potentially encountering a Shiny Pawmi for the first time! Evolve Pawmo, Pawmi’s first Evolution, at any point during the week following the event to get a Pawmot that knows the Charged Attack Brick Break. Explore one kilometer with Pawmo as your buddy during this event (and the following week) to get it ready to evolve!

Galvanize your May 2025 Community Day event with these bonuses.

Limited-time Evolution requirement: you can evolve Pawmo into Pawmot after exploring 1 km with Pawmo as your buddy. This bonus lasts until May 18, 2025, at 10:00 p.m. local time.
1/4 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in an Incubator during the event period.
2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) activated during the event will last for three hours.
Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!
One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day.
Trades will require 50% less Stardust.

May Community Day research opportunities are truly electrifying with Field Research, Community Day Special Research, and Pawmi Community Day Special Background Timed Research. Tickets for the Pawmi Community Day-exclusive Special Research are available for US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency). Trainers who complete the research will earn a Premium Battle Pass, a Rare Candy XL, and additional encounters with Pawmi, including three with a Seasonal Special Background. As always, event-themed Pawmi Field Research opportunities are free. Complete tasks focused on catching Pawmi to earn rewards including Stardust, Great Balls, and more.

And the fun continues after the event ends, with Pawmi Community Day Special Background Timed Research. Trainers who log in during the event will receive access to this research for one week following the event. The tasks associated with this Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 10:00 p.m. local time.

Additional encounters with Pawmi
1 Premium Battle Pass
1 Rare Candy XL

Don’t forget: You’re now able to purchase and gift tickets to any of your friends that you’ve achieved a Friendship level of Great Friends or higher with.

Community Day Special Background Timed Research

Keep Community Day going with a Timed Research opportunity that will last for a week following the event!

Trainers that log in during May Community Day will receive Timed Research awarding an encounter with a Pawmi that has a Might and Mastery–themed Special Background. You’ll even have an increased chance to encounter Shiny Pawmi when you complete these research tasks!

Don’t forget, Trainers, you can evolve Pawmo (Pawmi’s Evolution) during the week following the event to get a Pawmot that knows the Charged Attack Brick Break!

Please note that Timed Research expires. The tasks associated with this Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before Sunday, May 18, 2025, at 10:00 p.m. local time.

If you GO out and explore with your community, you may even find Field Research that leads to encounters with Pawmi that have Might and Mastery–themed Special Backgrounds—if you’re lucky!

Pokémon GO Web Store – Ultra Community Day Box

An Ultra Community Day Box featuring 5 Ultra Balls and one Special Research ticket will be available on the Pokémon GO Web Store during the event for US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency).

Event Bundles

Two Community Day bundles will be available during this event.

For 1,350 PokéCoins, you will get 50 Ultra Balls, five Super Incubators, one Elite Charged TM, and five Lucky Eggs.

For 480 PokéCoins, you will get 30 Ultra Balls, one Incense, three Super Incubators, and one Lure Module.
