Lim Duckyoung

Lim Duckyoung will be a guest at Otakon 2025. The founder of FlyingToon Studio, Lim is a Korean manhwaga, or comic artist. Lim is the creative mind behind popular works including “My Boss is an Otaku,” “Mission Kitman,” “The Oddball Family,” and “Kiki the Little Vampire,” as well as other illustration and character designs.

As a pop culture and collectible enthusiast, he merged the two and created Toontoy, Korea’s first platform-based figures inspired by comics. Offering interactive creative art experiences, Toontoy has been part of art exhibitions, pop-up stores, workshops, and classes in Korea, where everyone can create any character figure they imagine.

A former board member of the Korea Cartoonists Association and Bucheon International Comics Festival, Lim also teaches manhwa, webtoons, and character design at cultural institutions across Korea. He continues to spark creativity and inspire fans of all ages.

Otakon 2025 will be held from August 8-10, 2025 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.
