Atomic Mass Games last updated the roadmap of Star Wars Legion release dates during the GAMA expo in February 2025. We’ve combined all the information from that announcement, plus AMG’s July 2024 Ministravaganza livestream, to bring you the most up to date information about upcoming releases for the Star Wars Legion miniature wargame.

Starter Boxes

Announced at the GAMA trade fair, a collection of single-player starter box sets will replace Star Wars Legion’s existing two player starter sets. The precise contents of the new starters have not been revealed, but they will contain enough models to field a 600 point army, plus all the relevant cards, tokens, dice, and measuring tool that one player needs to play.
There will be starter sets for the Rebel Alliance, Galactic Empire, Galactic Republic, and Separatist Alliance.
Unit card packs and Command card packs

Announced at the GAMA trade fair, Atomic Mass Games is releasing several card packs that will enable existing players to replace their old Unit cards and Command cards with new ones that are up to date to the current version of the game. Print and play versions of the new rules cards are available from the Atomic Mass Games website.
Universal card pack

Also announced at the GAMA trade fair, a new Universal Card Pack will be released alongside the new starter boxes. This is intended for both new and existing players. Previously, universal upgrade and command cards were included with model kits. The Universal Card Pack collects all the existing cards and updates them to the new rules.
