Baldur’s Gate 3 features some pretty raunchy romance scenes, but its dirtiest secret has only just been discovered – almost eight months after launch. One BG3 fan shared their filthy find via Reddit on March 31, proving that it’s possible to bed a doppelganger of your Tav.
If you want to see some Tav-on-Tav action, you’ll actually need to play as the Dark Urge instead. Apparently, self-smooching is an act that’s only for the depraved and murderous. Apart from this, you can proceed with Act One and Act Two of the Game as normal – act Three is where the magic happens.
First, there’s an item you need in Sharess’ Caress, the decadent brothel in Wyrm’s Crossing. It’s on a corner table in the Underdark Pleasures room, but only if you’ve spent a night with the Drow Twins. Get that fade-to-black orgy out of the way, clean yourself up, and pick up ‘Sorn’s Tickle Stick’. It looks like a common quill, but we can only assume it’s seen far sticker uses.
On your way out, swing by the kitchens and talk to Sauceman Chorizo. He’s got a food item called ‘Chorizo’s Special Sausage’, but you’ll need to pass some skill checks before he’ll give it to you. Chorizo will challenge you to make the best adult food puns possible, which leads to a series of increasingly difficult Performance rolls.
Stick and Sausage secured, you’ll need to move to the site of self-fellatio – which is also the home of the Murder Tribunal. Be sure not to kill any Doppelgangers on your way there. They must all talk to each other after the doppelgang-ing day is done, because even one death is enough to lock you out of this dirty deed.
Once you’ve entered, you must long rest while Durge is holding your previously collected brothel props. This triggers that all-important cutscene.
The doppelganger you’ll be doing appears in the halls outside the Murder Tribunal’s main chamber. At first, they appear as a Gnome called Rumpy Pumpy, but a successful Persuasion check encourages them to reveal their true nature – a doppelganger.
From here, choose these dialogue options to romance Rumpy Pumpy:
- Is that a Purple Worm in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?
- Go f*** yourself.
- Sure, I’ve always wondered what I look like from behind.
The saucy scenes that follow are almost too disturbing to put in print. Sorn’s Tickle Stick is actually a wand that summons a range of unusual sex toys, and we don’t even want to describe what the identical duo do to each other with Chorizo’s Special Sausage. At one point, Sarevok opens the doors to the Murder Tribunal and tells you both to keep it down. It puts the infamous bear scene to shame.
Rumor has it four actors walked out after attempting to film the motion capture for these scenes. Wargamer reached out to Larian for comment, and a representative called us on Zoom to laugh maniacally in our faces.
