Disney Lorcana promo cards celebrate the game’s tournaments, milestones, and events, offering gorgeous alternative art and fun new cards to play with. They often have limited availability, so many of them are also worth a pretty penny. If you’re curious about Disney Lorcana promos, we can tell you all about them.
There are currently 33 Disney Lorcana promo cards in print. We’ve put together a complete list, showing off the cards and explaining their origins. Many of the most expensive Lorcana cards ever are listed here, so we’ve provided price estimates. You can also expect to see promo versions of some of the best Lorcana cards for play.
The Disney Lorcana promo card that started it all.
Set | D23 Expo |
Ink color | Ruby |
Estimated price | $1,300 |
- The original Disney Lorcana card
- High sentimental and financial value
- Not much reason to play it in competitive games
- Value may drop over time
Mickey Mouse, Brave Little Tailor is the OG Disney Lorcana promo. As a limited edition version of one of the game’s earliest cards, it’s naturally worth a lot of dough. That high value might not stick around forever though – a copy can still be worth thousands of dollars, but other promos have overtaken the tailor over time.
This is an inkable card that costs eight ink to play. Mickey Mouse, Brave Little Tailor is a character card with five Strength and Willpower, plus the Evasive keyword to limit what other characters can challenge it. Brave Little Tailor can also quest for a whopping four lore.
A beloved and valuable Disney Lorcana promo card.
Set | D23 Expo |
Ink color | Amber |
Estimated price | $1,100 |
- Popular for its art and mechanics
- Worth playing in Amber decks
- Prices are wildly inconsistent
- One of the least valuable D23 promos
Stitch, Rock Star was one of the flagship cards in the early days of Lorcana. It was all over marketing, and its reasonable power levels mean it still sees regular play. If you combine the rarity of a limited release with solid mechanics and a beloved character, you’ve got the perfect formula for a valuable card.
Costing six ink, this inkable character has three Strength and five Willpower. Shift 4 helps you play Rock Star sooner, and the ‘Adoring Fans’ ability lets you draw a card when you play a character costing two ink or less. On top of that, three lore each time you quest is a perfectly respectable amount.
The most expensive Disney Lorcana promo so far.
Set | D23 Expo |
Ink color | Amethyst |
Estimated price | $5,000 |
- The most valuable D23 Expo card
- Great art of a hugely popular character
- Hugely expensive
- Not much reason to play in competitive decks
Serious collectors will want a copy of the D23 Expo promo, Elsa, Snow Queen. A high-quality copy sells for thousands of dollars, and it’s miles ahead of other promo cards when it comes to pure financial value. Wonderful art, a well-loved princess, and the card’s unique printing all add to the prize.
As for what’s on this pricey piece of paper, Snow Queen is a two-Strength, three-Willpower character that costs three ink. It’s inkable, and the card can quest for one lore. Elsa’s ‘Freeze’ ability also lets you exert your card and force an opponent’s character to exert too.
An early Disney Lorcana promo that holds consistent value.
Set | D23 Expo |
Ink color | Emerald |
Estimated price | $1,300 |
- Limited promo printing keeps its value high
- Consistent prices make it an appealing investment
- Not much play value
We haven’t heard much from Cruella De Vil, Miserable as Usual since the early days of Lorcana. Despite a lack of competitive play and the card being eclipsed in power, the promo version has managed to hold pretty consistent value. A well-looked-after copy can fetch well over a thousand dollars, after all.
A two-cost, inkable card, this character has only one Strength and three Willpower. You can quest for a single, measly lore. Slightly better is the ‘You’ll Be Sorry!’ ability. When the card is banished during a challenge, you can return an opponent’s character card to their hand.
The strongest of all Disney Lorcana promos.
Set | D23 Expo |
Ink color | Ruby |
Estimated price | $1,700 |
- One of the strongest promo cards in Lorcana
- One of the higher-value D23 cards
- Even non-promo versions of the card are expensive
Maleficent, Monstrous Dragon is a card of enormous power – and that’s just the regular version. The D23 Expo version is also a rare promo with an important place in Lorcana history. It’s no wonder, then, that this card is eye-wateringly expensive.
Monstrous Dragon is inkable, and it costs a behemoth nine ink to play. With seven Strength, five Willpower, and the ability to banish a character as soon as it’s played, it can only be described as ‘formidable’. The card can also quest for two lore, but we have a feeling that’s lower down the priority list than ‘wreak havoc’.
A less cherished D23 Disney Lorcana promo card.
Set | D23 Expo |
Ink color | Sapphire |
Estimated price | $1,200 |
- Limited promo printing keeps its value high
- Prices can be inconsistent
- One of the less popular D23 promos
All promo cards from the D23 Expo where Lorcana was first announced have inherent historical value. Robin Hood, Unrivaled Archer isn’t quite as popular as Mickey, Elsa, or Maleficent, but a quality copy still fetches plenty of cash on secondary markets.
This inkable character costs six ink to play. With four Strength, four Willpower, and two quest value, it’s a solid mid-level character. Its Feed the Poor ability lets you potentially draw a card once Robin Hood is played, and ‘Good Shot’ gives the card Evasive – but only during your turn.
A well-played card with a pricey promo version.
Set | D23 Expo |
Ink color | Steel |
Estimated price | $1,100 |
- A strong card that still sees competitive play
- One of the least valuable D23 promos
Plenty of Steel decks still play Captain Hook, Forceful Duelist. You need to be brave if you want to sleeve up a promo copy though. It can be worth around a thousand dollars, and any slight imperfections can dramatically affect its price. If you’re a collector and a player, it won’t hurt to have a few regular copies to play in your deck.
Forceful Duelist casts just one ink to play, and it can be added to your inkwell too. The character has one Strength, two Willpower, and a quest value of one. To make things a little more interesting, this persistent pirate also has Challenger +2 as an ability.
One for completionist collectors rather than competitive players.
Set | League Promo |
Ink color | Amber |
Estimated price | $5.20 |
- An affordable promo for collectors on a budget
- Low value for ambitious collectors
- Not much competitive play value
League promos will never reach the monetary value of rarer Disney Lorcana promos, but they can still bring a lot of joy to collectors. Case in point – HeiHei, Boat Snack. It’s a fun throwback to Moana’s goofiest companion, but the card doesn’t have much value beyond the sentimental.
HeiHei costs one ink and can be played in your inkwell. It has just one Strength and two Willpower, plus a single quest value. The card also comes with the Support keyword, so it can loan its puny Strength to another character when HeiHei quests.
A Disney Lorcana promo card with fun flavor and a fetchingly low price.
Set | League Promo |
Ink color | Sapphire |
Estimated price | $8.76 |
- An affordable promo for collectors on a budget
- Fun and unique art of Mickey Mouse
- Low value for ambitious collectors
Mickey Mouse, Detective has some of the best card art out of all the league promos. Here we see Mickey as a steampunk detective, investigating some vibrant seaweed. The card’s ability also makes it worth playing in the right decks – pushing the price up somewhat compared to other promo cards of this type.
Mickey Mouse, Detective costs three ink to play, but it’s not inkable. One Strength and Three Willpower isn’t much, and neither is the ability to quest for one lore. But ‘Get a Clue’ is a wonderful ability, allowing you to put the top card of your deck into your inkwell when Mickey gets played.
A low-cost Disney Lorcana promo for league players.
Set | League Promo |
Ink color | Amethyst |
Estimated price | $2.61 |
- An affordable promo for collectors on a budget
- Low value for ambitious collectors
- Not much competitive play value
Yzma, Alchemist is a neat reward for taking part in Organized Play games, but there’s not much reason for a collector to chase the card. Still, if you’re collecting on a budget or are going for a completionist promo collection, it’s worth tracking down.
Yzma is a two-cost, inkable character card. It has two Strength and two Willpower, and it quests for just one lore. The ‘You’re Excused’ ability also lets you peek at the top card of your deck whenever Yzma quests, and you can decide whether the card goes back on the top or bottom of your deck.
A popular Disney Lorcana promo that’ll make you say “Gawrsh!”
Set | Gamescom 2023 |
Ink color | Amber |
Estimated price | $99.49 |
- Part of a novel ‘Musketeer’ archetype
- Reasonably high-value promo
- Not super competitive
Goofy, Musketeer is one of a popular trio of promo cards. Clad in his signature Musketeer gear, Goofy can be spotted adding a bit of fun to Lorcana decks – though not much power. Still, the rarity of the card and its neat theme keep the price fairly high.
Goofy, Musketeer costs five ink and is inkable at the same time. Three Strength isn’t much, but six Willpower will easily keep him on the board. The Bodyguard keyword adds extra defense, and Goofy has plenty of synergy with other Musketeers. Its ‘And Two For Tea!’ ability removed two damage from all your Musketeers when Goofy enters play.
Another mighty Musketeer promo card that’s worth collecting.
Set | GenCon 2023 |
Ink color | Steel |
Estimated price | $93.83 |
- Part of a novel ‘Musketeer’ archetype
- Reasonably high-value promo
- Not found in many competitive decks
Even beefier than Goofy is Mickey Mouse, Musketeer, a Steel character card with a high price tag. The fun theme and limited availability keep this Mickey in demand rather than any notable presence in the meta.
For six ink, you can play this inkable character card. Its two Strength is compensated for by a meaty seven Willpower and the Bodyguard keyword, which makes Mickey Mouse, Musketeer a potent defender. Its ‘All For One’ ability also grants other Musketeers an extra point of Strength.
A cheap Disney Lorcana promo card with some play value.
Set | League Promo |
Ink color | Steel |
Estimated price | $1.68 |
- Unique new art of a popular character
- Sees some competitive play
- Not much appeal for high-value collectors
Cinderella, Knight in Training is a promo card without much value for hardcore collectors. It’s not going to break the bank, and it seems unlikely that value will increase. But, given that the card is pretty competitive, it’s a wonderful reward for league players.
This Cinderella is all about the number two – two ink to play, two Strength, and two Willpower. When the card is first played, you can draw a card then choose one from your hand to discard. And failing that, you can quest for one lore.
Nobody’s favorite character, in Disney Lorcana promo form.
Set | League Promo |
Ink color | Emerald |
Estimated price | $2.90 |
- An affordable promo for collectors on a budget
- An obscure character that may have less appeal to some collectors
- Not much financial value
Bucky, Squirrel Squeak Tutor doesn’t have the same star power as Elsa or Mickey Mouse. As far as we know, there’s nobody in line to meet him at Disneyland. It’s unsurprising that this humble league promo won’t break the bank. Perhaps you’re more intrigued by the obscure star of this card, or maybe you just want to complete your promo collection.
Bucky is a two-cost, inkable character with one Strength and one Willpower. The Ward keyword means the card can only be targeted by a challenge, and the ‘Squeak’ ability forces opponents to discard a card whenever you play a Floodborn character. Bucky can also quest for one lore – fitting for his stature.
A cute Minnie Mouse promo card with a competitive streak.
Set | League Promo |
Ink color | Ruby |
Estimated price | $2.90 |
- An affordable promo for collectors on a budget
- Worth playing in certain decks
- One of the weaker Minnie Mouse cards
- Not much financial value for ambitious collectors
Minnie Mouse, Wide-Eyed Diver isn’t the most powerful version of this iconic character, but the card does slot nicely into some excellent Ruby Decks. Combine that with art of Minnie in an adorable scuba suit, and you’ve got a league promo that’s worth earning (if not buying).
Wide-Eyed Diver is an inkable character that costs four to play, offering two Strength and one Willpower. The Floodborn comes with Shift 2 and Evasive, making her a snappy play that’s hard to challenge. ‘Undersea Adventure’ also lets Minnie quest for an extra two lore when you play a second action on your turn – for a total of three.
A solid league promo card, valued for play rather than rarity.
Set | League Promo |
Ink color | Steel |
Estimated price | $3.99 |
- An affordable promo for collectors on a budget
- Sees some competitive play
- Not much financial value for ambitious collectors
Robin Hood, Capable Fighter makes a handful of appearances in competitive Lorcana decks. This utility pushes up its price a bit, but not to the point of alienating budget collectors. If you’re a lover of Steel decks and lovely art of thieving foxes, it’s one to grab.
The non-inkable character costs two to play, and you’ll get one Strength and three Willpower for your trouble. This card quests for only one lore, but the ‘Skirmish’ ability lets you deal one damage to a chosen character in exchange for exerting your Robin Hood.
An Elsa promo card for budget collectors.
Set | Disney100 |
Ink color | Amethyst |
Estimated price | $9.24 |
- Beautiful alternative art of a popular character
- An affordable promo for collectors on a budget
- Not much financial value for ambitious collectors
- One of the least valuable Elsa cards
If you love Frozen but can’t afford to fork out thousands for a Disney Lorcana promo, you should add Elsa, Gloves Off to your shopping list. It comes as part of the Disney100 Collector’s Edition, which features many other stunning alternative art cards. But if you’re only after Elsa, you can pick up a single copy without breaking the bank.
This inkable character costs four ink to play, and it can quest for one lore. Three Strength and four Willpower is fairly average, but Elsa also has Challenger +3 to buff her Strength during a challenge.
A Disney Lorcana promo you buy for its beautiful artwork
Set | Disney100 |
Ink color | Emerald |
Estimated price | $4.50 |
- Beautiful alternative art of a popular character
- An affordable promo for collectors on a budget
- Not much financial value for ambitious collectors
- Doesn’t see much competitive play
The Disney100 version of Genie, Powers Unleashed reimagines the character in striking greens, blues, and gold. Its beauty and relative rarity are the only real reasons to cherish it, though. As a Lorcana card, it’s good but not overly special.
Genie, Powers Unleashed is un-inkable, and it costs eight ink to play. It’s a character with three Strength and five Willpower that can quest for three lore at a time. Shift 6 and evasive make it a mite more playable, and ‘Phenomenal Cosmic Power!’ lets you play a cheap-ish action card for free any time the Genie quests.
More than just an ordinary demi-guy – Maui is a gorgeous Lorcana promo.
Set | Disney100 |
Ink color | Steel |
Estimated price | $3.29 |
- Beautiful alternative art of a popular character
- An affordable promo for collectors on a budget
- Not much financial value for ambitious collectors
- Doesn’t see as much competitive play as other Maui cards
As far as alternative art promo cards go, Maui, Demigod is one of our favorites. That’s all down to personal taste, of course – and as the price reflects, this isn’t one of the most desirable promo cards out there. But it’ll make a lot of collectors like us very happy.
This ink-able character is all about eights – offering eight Strength and eight Willpower in exchange for eight ink. Maui can quest for three lore, but it’s his immense punching power that’s the main draw.
One of the prettiest (and more affordable) Maleficent Lorcana promos.
Set | Disney100 |
Ink color | Sapphire |
Estimated price | $5.30 |
- Beautiful alternative art of a popular character
- An affordable promo for collectors on a budget
- Not much financial value for ambitious collectors
- There are much stronger Maleficent cards you could play
Lorcana is full of interesting and powerful Maleficent cards, but the Disney100 version of Maleficent, Uninvited is one of the most beautiful. Looks aren’t everything, though – a lack of power and the relative availability of this card keep the price fairly low. Good news for budget collectors, but less so for anyone hunting a white whale.
Maleficent, Uninvited is an inkable character card that costs five ink to play. It has no unique abilities, but it can quest for three lore. Three Strength and six Willpower make it a decent defender, too.
The chaser card from this Disney Lorcana promo set.
Set | Disney100 |
Ink color | Amber |
Estimated price | $9.60 |
- The most valuable Disney100 card
- An affordable promo for collectors on a budget
- Our least favorite artwork from the set
We’re not personally big fans of the alternative art style used on the Disney100 promo version of Mickey Mouse, Friendly Face. But clearly we’re in the minority, as this sketch-heavy alt is the most prized of all the Disney100 cards. A famous face with a solid ability will do that.
This six-cost inkable card has just one Strength, but six Willpower to keep it on the board. Mickey can quest for a tasty three lore, and the ‘Glad You’re Here!’ ability makes your next character three ink cheaper any time the card goes questing.
A Disney Lorcana promo for fans of neat art and budget decks.
Set | Disney100 |
Ink color | Ruby |
Estimated price | $6.58 |
- Beautiful alternative art of a popular character
- An affordable promo for collectors on a budget
- One of the weaker Stitch cards in Lorcana
- Not much financial value for ambitious collectors
Like the other Disney100 promos, this version of Stitch, Abomination won’t break the bank. Fans of Experiment 626 will find a lot to love about its unique artwork, and the card itself isn’t half bad. It’s one for a flashy Ruby deck, perhaps.
Stitch, Abomination is an inkable character that costs six ink to play. It has four Strength and six Willpower, plus the ability to quest for three lore. There are no abilities tied to this character, so the text box is filled with a fun flavor quote instead.
The Musketeer trio is complete with this popular Disney Lorcana promo.
Set | Spiel Essen 2023 |
Ink color | Steel |
Estimated price | $102.76 |
- Part of a novel ‘Musketeer’ archetype
- Sees some competitive play
- The most expensive Musketeer promo
Every Musketeer promo comes with a fairly steep price tag, and Donald Duck, Musketeer is the most expensive of them all. If spending a bit more cash doesn’t bother you, this promo is worth adding to your collection. It’s strong enough to add to competitive decks, and its theme is delightful. Why not complete the Musketeer trio?
Donald Duck, Musketeer is a four-cost, inkable character. It has two Strength and five Willpower, plus the ability to quest for one lore. The Bodyguard keyword gives it more value as a defender, and the ‘Stay Alert!’ ability gives all your Musketeers Evasive during your turn.
There’s no promo in town half as pricey.
Set | Event promo |
Ink color | Ruby |
Estimated price | $108 |
- Reasonably high-value promo
- A strong card, but not notably competitive
Lorcana promos handed out at events tend to be harder to find, so their value naturally rises. Case in point: Gaston, Arrogant Hunter. It’s a good card made better by its rare promo status. We’re sure the price tag is only inflating the arrogant hunter’s ego even more.
Gaston, Arrogant Hunter costs two ink to play, and it can also be played in your inkwell. It has four Strength and two Willpower, as well as the Reckless keyword. This means Gaston can’t quest, and it must challenge an opponent every turn if possible.
Not a competitive Lorcana promo, but a very cute one.
Set | Event promo |
Ink color | Amber |
Estimated price | $51.46 |
- Reasonably high-value promo
- Fun and unique art of Rapunzel
- Doesn’t see much competitive play
One of Lorcana’s strengths is how much new, unusual art it gives us of popular characters. Rapunzel, Gifted Artist doesn’t bring much wow factor to the TCG’s meta, but it’s one of our favorite drawings of the Tangled star so far. The rarity of the event promo adds a little extra sparkle, too.
This five-cost, inkable character has no Strength at all, but the six Willpower makes up for this. Rapunzel, Gifted Artist has Shift 3 and can quest for two lore. The ‘Let Your Power Shine’ ability also lets you draw a card whenever you remove one or more damage from one of your characters.
A more affordable Disney Lorcana event promo.
Set | Event promo |
Ink color | Amethyst |
Estimated price | $30.46 |
- Reasonably high-value promo
- Value seems likely to increase
- Doesn’t see much competitive play
Pinocchio, Talkative Puppet is currently one of the cheaper event promos released by Disney Lorcana. It seems likely that price will rise in the short term, but for now things are cheap and cheerful. Perhaps it’s the relative weakness of the card keeping the price down or the traditional take on this character.
Pinocchio, Talkative Puppet is un-inkable and costs two to play. It’s a 1/1 in terms of Strength and Willpower, and it only quests for one lore. The ‘Telling Lies’ ability adds a little glitter, though, as it lets you exert an opponent’s character when Pinocchio enters play.
Another valuable Lorcan promo featuring Disney’s most muscular villain.
Set | Event promo |
Ink color | Sapphire |
Estimated price | $52.19 |
- Reasonably high-value promo
- Value seems likely to increase
- Doesn’t see much competitive play
If the value of Four Dozen Eggs is anything to go by, Gaston cards are proving popular in Disney Lorcana. The event promo is already worth a pretty penny, and recent trends on secondary markets indicate the price may rise even further. Gaston is just showing off, now.
This is one of the few Disney Lorcana promo cards that’s an action rather than a character. It’s a song that, when sung, gives your characters Resist +2 until the start of your next turn.
A Disney Lorcana promo card for champions
Set | Championship promo |
Ink color | Amber |
Estimated price | – |
- The first-ever Championship promo
- Gorgeous alternative art for an already popular card
- Not available yet
It’s hard to value the Championship promo version of Stitch, Rock Star, as the card isn’t available yet. This promo will be a reward at the first-ever Disney Lorcana Set Championships, taking place in April 2024. Given the popularity of the card and character, and that this is the first promo of this kind, we think it’s going to be one to chase.
Like all other copies of this card, the promo costs six ink and can be played in your inkwell. The stats and abilities are all the same – just with a vibrant new drawing of Stitch rocking out.
A Lorcana promo song card that’s currently going for cheap.
Set | League Promo |
Ink color | Sapphire |
Estimated price | $2.59 |
- An affordable promo for collectors on a budget
- Not much financial value for ambitious collectors
How Far I’ll Go is a promo card that’s not currently living up to its name. With such a low value, the only place it looks like it’ll be going is into the binders of completionist collectors.
The song usually costs four ink, but can be played for free if you exert the right character. It lets you look at the top two cards of your deck, placing one in your hand and the other (exerted) in your inkwell.
An affordable Lorcana promo that’s at home in a pirate deck.
Set | League Promo |
Ink color | Steel |
Estimated price | $6.23 |
- An affordable promo for collectors on a budget
- A solid card for pirate-based decks
- Not much financial value for ambitious collectors
John Silver, Greedy Treasure Seeker has already seen plenty of play in pirate-based Lorcana decks. A promo version is one way to add pizazz to your collection, and right now it won’t cost you too much.
John Silver is a three-cost, inkable character with three Strength and Willpower. The card quests for one lore, and ‘Chart Your Own Course’ gives John Resist +1 and an extra lore to quest for – one for each location you have in play.
The first location card to become a Disney Lorcana promo.
Set | League Promo |
Ink color | Ruby |
Estimated price | $1.74 |
- An affordable promo for collectors on a budget
- A solid card for pirate-based decks
- Not much financial value for ambitious collectors
Jolly Roger, Hook’s Ship marks a new era for Disney Lorcana promo cards, introducing a location to the roster. Anyone building a deck of pirates will find play value here. However, there’s not much else giving the card value right now – maybe history will tell a different story.
Jolly Roger, Hook’s Ship has a movement cost of two and a Willpower of five. Characters on the location gain Rush, so they can challenge on the same turn they’re played. Plus, ‘All Hands on Deck!’ lets you move pirates to this location for free.
A starter deck card turned Disney Lorcana promo.
Set | Event promo |
Ink color | Sapphire |
Estimated price | $250 |
- Unique art for a popular character
- An interesting card, but not overly competitive
Scrooge McDuck, Uncle Moneybags can be found in one of Into the Inklands’ starter decks, but promo versions are also available. As an event promo, this one is likely to fetch a higher price than League promos – even if the original card is super easy to source.
This is a two-cost, inkable character with one Strength and three Willpower. It only quests for one lore, and the helpful ‘Treasure Finder’ ability means you pay one less ink for your next item after Scrooge McDuck quests.
A Disney Lorcana promo card only ‘90s kids will remember.
Set | League Promo |
Ink color | Emerald |
Estimated price | $3.27 |
- An affordable promo for collectors on a budget
- Not much financial value for ambitious collectors
Kit Cloudkicker, Tough Guy is a promo with a slightly narrower audience than others. If you’re old enough to remember the Jungle Book spin-off TalesSpin, this will be a nice dose of nostalgia. Otherwise, you’re introduced to a whole new character on a league card.
This character is inkable, and it costs three ink to play. Kit has two Strength and Willpower but can only quest for one lore. When you first play the card, the ‘Skysurfing’ ability lets you return a character with two Strength or less to an opponent’s hand.
For more cards to chase, here’s our guide to Disney Lorcana Enchanted cards from Into the Inklands. We can also help you catch up on the Disney Lorcana rules, as well as the best Disney Lorcana starter decks.
