Niantic is continuing to announce new events and content for Pokémon GO. Read on below to learn more:
The Love-Hate Pokémon is melting hearts in Pokémon GO at four different times on Valentine’s Day.
Incarnate Forme Enamorus, a Legendary Fairy- and Flying-type Pokémon, is making its Pokémon GO debut—and first-ever appearance outside Pokémon Legends: Arceus—in Elite Raids on February 14, 2024. Even more challenging than 5-star raids, the first Elite Raid took place on October 16, 2022, with Hoopa Unbound, and the most recent was May 13, 2023, featuring Regidrago. Trainers cannot use Remote Raid Passes to join Elite Raids, so it’s important to take them on with as many friends as possible and use the most effective Pokémon and attacks.
This perfectly pink Pokémon will hatch from Raid Eggs on Valentine’s Day at the following times.
- Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at 12:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at 5:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at 6:00 p.m.
Because Elite Raids are so much more difficult than any other raid in Pokémon GO, team composition is paramount. As a Fairy- and Flying-type Pokémon, Enamorus is vulnerable to Electric-, Ice-, Poison-, Rock-, or Steel-type Pokémon. Some good choices to counter Enamorus include Shadow Metagross, Shadow Rhyperior, Mega Diancie, and Xurkitree—just be sure that each Pokémon has a Fast Attack and a Charged Attack that are super effective to complete the raid as quickly as possible.
Take on Enamorus with all your heart, Trainers!

Elite Raid Battle–completion bonus
Once you successfully complete an Elite Raid Battle against Incarnate Forme Enamorus, various Flying- and Fairy-type Pokémon will appear around the Gym that hosted the raid for 30 minutes.
What are Elite Raids?
Elite Raids are a challenging variety of Raid Battle. They appear from special Raid Eggs that take 24 hours to hatch. Once the Raid Egg hatches, a Raid Boss will appear for 30 minutes—but take note that Elite Raid Bosses can only be battled in-person. Gather your friends and prepare for an epic confrontation!
Defeat Incarnate Forme Enamorus in an Elite Raid and you’ll earn an opportunity to catch it.
Remember, Trainers will not be able to participate in Elite Raids using Remote Raid Passes.
