Following tremendous collector feedback from recent international fan events, Hot Toys has announced the latest in their DC Movie Masterpiece series — drawing inspiration from the appearance of Young Barry in the 2023 blockbuster movie, The Flash.
Barry Allen time travels to an alternate 2013, meets with his parents, and discovers that the teenage Barry from this reality has yet to experience the events that will transform him into the super hero known as The Flash. The younger Barry is full of excitement and wonder at the arrival of his older self, and eager to discover whether he is able to gain the very same powers, and become a super hero in his own right!
The Flash (Young Barry) 1/6 Scale Figure features two newly developed cowled portraits — one in standard form and one depicting his battle-damaged look from the movie. Both of the heads can be modified for a wealth of display options by utilizing interchangeable lower face plates to swap out Barry’s expressions, plus Hot Toys’ innovative separate rolling eyeballs system, to allow collectors to adjust his gaze.
The Hot Toys creative team has meticulously recreated every detail of Young Barry’s makeshift costume from the movie, down to the sprayed logo on his chest and caution tape around his waist. The figure also comes with numerous accessories and features, including a selection of swap-out hands, a headset, a variety of lightning effects, and a specially designed LED light-up figure display base.
Furthermore, a special Deluxe Version exclusively includes an additional hand-painted Young Barry headsculpt, as well as interchangeable battle-damaged hand and armor elements with fragments attached so fans can recreate the character’s appearance in the epic final battle!
