Whatnot Publishing’s Ninja Funk #1 has sold out and gets a second printing

One week after the release of Whatnot Publishing’s highly anticipated debut original series, Ninja Funk, it has been announced that the first printing of issue one which featured cover art from an all-star list of creators (Kevin Eastman, BossLogic, David Mack, and more) has sold out. The book by writing duo JPG Paras and Steve Schuitt with art by Alex Riegel initially sold 105,000 copies through Diamond Comics Distributors and exclusive variant retailers. With the demand for the book still high, The Whatnot Publishing team is sending the book immediately to a second printing.

The second print cover is an homage by Tyler Kirkham that pays tribute to the iconic Todd McFarlane’s Spider-Man #1 second print. The preorder on Previewsworld (SEP228778) is open now with a final order cutoff on Monday, November 21 matching the Ninja Funk #2 FOC and release date on December 21st.
