I love sushi. Though, it’s been a while since I’ve had it. But even if I can’t make it out to my favorite sushi restaurant soon, I can live vicariously through Sushi Boat, a new board game all about grabbing the best rolls for yourself up on Kickstarter.
From the campaign:
Hi! My name is Eric Price, and I love sushi, and Japanese food of all kinds. Earlier this year we released our Ramen Ramen game, and I’m very excited to bring Sushi Boat to you!My team and I have been working on this project for the last 2 years, and this has very much been a labor of love. We have produced several prototypes for this game, out of several different materials, and we unanimously agreed – this premium wood board was the way to go with Sushi Boat for our special first printing of this game. Not only did we create a beautiful game experience, we also went through several iterations to create the perfect game tray, to emulate the look of an actual bento box full of Japanese food.
Just like well prepared sushi, this game is innovative, tasty, and fun.
Not only is this game beautiful, and the presentation so well prepared, we know that you will find this game as fun to play as it is to look at.
No expense was spared in the production of this game, from the wooden board, to the ceramic wasabi bowl. The beautiful art, and the tasty side dishes, were all picked by our team to share with you. We even have a few more tasty treats to share with you in upcoming stretch goals, so get eat some sushi!
The campaign’s just over halfway to its goal with 20 days left to go.
