The battles in Europe after the Allied Invasion of France were brutal and harrowing. One such was the battle for Caen. Now, you can play out this pivotal historical moment in Heroes of Normandie: Battle for Caen, a new board game from Devil Pig Games. The project is up on Kickstarter now.

The Devil Pigs are proud to present to you this new opus of the Heroes of Normandie saga! A striking immersion in one of the greatest confrontations of the Normandy campaign, the Battle for Caen.
We buried ourselves in historical research to determine which divisions we wanted to follow, which battlefields we wanted to explore, and what story we wanted to tell. During our research, we discovered that Eric, the new illustrator of the Heroes of Normandy range, had a grandfather who participated in these battles. You will therefore find Ludger Houde alongside the men of the Régiment de la Chaudière.
The campaign’s up and over its funding goal with 18 days left to go.
