Delta Green: The Millennium is an apocalyptic splatbook of the dark and desperate past of Delta Green at the turn of the century.

Delta Green is back with a new book, Delta Green: The Millennium. A powerful new sourcebook set in the final days of the 20th century. In fact, it is an adaptation of the 1999 hit, Delta Green: Countdown, which pits the grand conspiracy of Delta Green against the ever-boldening forces of the Mythos in a desperate race to save humanity before the turning of the millennium. The new sourcebook takes all that and updates it to the new edition, without necessarily moving the clock forward.

Delta Green: The Millennium

This is a sourcebook for GMs, for sure. Inside, you’ll find a ton of new information about the world. Back when it came out, Delta Green: Countdown was an ambitious sourcebook that wanted to open up the map, so to speak. To that end, and in the new book as well, you’ll find a bunch of new organizations, new potential allies, and of course, plenty of new horrors.

But what’s really delicious is the setting. It’s right as the tail end of the 20th century winds down. When hope and fear and greed and despair and possibility are all vying to see who will set the tone for the next thousand years of human history.

Delta Green: The Millennium adapts much of 1999’s Delta Green: Countdown, one of the most acclaimed RPG sourcebooks of all time, to Delta Green: The Role-Playing Game. Pair it with Delta Green: The Conspiracy for a shattering campaign set in the dying of the millennium.

Pair it with Delta Green: Impossible Landscapes and Delta Green: God’s Teeth to drag players through the fears of the millennium’s turn and into the modern day, where callousness and cruelty of turned the fruitful soil of the human spirit to rot.

Here’s a taste of some of the organizations you’ll find waiting for you within:

  • The Insects From Shaggai, alien parasites subverting the leadership of a nation.
  • PISCES, the UK’s attempt to harness the unknown.
  • The Army of the Third Eye, terrorists fighting a bloody battle against alien invaders.
  • GRU-SV8, a band of desperate operatives fighting darkness in the ruins of Russia.
  • The Skoptsi, occult fanatics with an eight-hundred-year legacy.
  • The OUTLOOK Group, where MAJESTIC tests its elite.
  • Phenomen-X, a syndicated TV news show that pokes its camera in all the wrong places.
  • Tiger Transit, a former CIA airline now in the clutches of an unnatural drug cartel.
  • The D-Stacks at the American Museum of Natural History, where Dr. Jensen Wu classifies the unclassifiable.
  • The Keepers of the Faith, traditionalist ghouls fighting lean and hungry Heretics beneath the streets of Manhattan.
  • The Hastur Mythos, a twisted skein of surreal destruction weaving its way through humanity.

And that’s just the tip of the mythos iceberg. If you want an eerie new sourcebook and want to level up the horror of your games of secret agents fighting Cthulhu at every turn, then you’ll want to check this one out. Countdown is one of the greats, and it’s amazing to see it back again.
