Salt Entertainment has inked an agreement with Clive Barker and Park Ave Ent. LLC to develop a tabletop game line based on the Hellraiser IP.
The new game line will consist of officially-licensed board games, TTRPGs, and other original games for retail. The first of these games will be released on Halloween 2027.
“Hellraiser has been my favorite film since I (watched it) at a way-too-young age, so the opportunity to work with Clive Barker, one of the great creative visionaries of our time, is genuinely a dream come true,” said Geoff Skinner, President of Salt Games. “It’s an extraordinary world with four decades of mythology to explore, and one that lends itself beautifully to tabletop gaming.”
Salt has tapped Michael Shinall (see “‘Bloodborne: The Board Game’“) to design a Hellraiser board game. The original game slate includes a push-your-luck dice game, an escape-room-style tabletop game and a social deduction game. Francesco Nepitello will design and pen the Hellraiser TTRPG (see “‘The One Ring’ RPG“).
