Wizards of the Coast unveiled new details for Magic: The Gathering – Star Trek, a new Universes Beyond booster set, which will hit retail on November 13, 2026.

The new set explores 60 years of Star Trek with a variety of new and reprinted Magic cards.  As noted before (see “Star Trek’ Booster Set“), the Headliner cards for this set are actor-autographed cards featuring various characters from Star Trek.  The signed cards include Captain James T. Kirk (William Shatner), Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Patrick Stewart), Mr. Spock, Science Officer, Lieutenant Commander Data (Brent Spiner), Captain Kathryn Janeway (Kate Mulgrew), Seven of Nine, Unassimilated (Jeri Ryan) and Lt. Cmdr. Georgi La Forge (Levar Burton).  Each of these cards are limited to a total of 250 copies to be found in Collector Boosters.

The set will also contain LCARS shock lands.  These cards have a special frame that is a homage to the Enterprise’s on-board computer, and features artwork of iconic planets from Star Trek.  There will also be borderless Stardates cards that are reprints of powerful cards from Magic’s history, including Kenrith, the Returned King; Bristly Bill, Spine Sower; Prosper, Tome-Bound and Minamo, School at Water’s Edge.  There are a total of 30 Stardates cards to be found in both Play Boosters and Collector Boosters.

This set also contains classic Enterprise cards, which are a tribute to some of vintage Star Trek movie posters.  There are 5 uncommon, 13 rare, and 6 mythic rare cards that come in this treatment, as non-foil and foil in Play Boosters and Collector Boosters and also as Surge foils in Collector Boosters.  The set also has Klingon frame and Klingon script cards; Klingon frame cards appear in both Play and Collector Boosters, the Klingon script cards only appear in Collector Boosters.  There is a common, 6 uncommons, and 3 rare Klingon frame cards in this set.

The Star Trek booster set also has various full-art basic lands.  These lands come as a holodeck version and an away team version.  There are also ship cards that feature schematic plan artwork in the Beam Me Up Bundles.
