Marvel Comics reported on September 11 that they had over 400,000 orders for Amazing Spider-Man #1000, and they had already planned a second printing (see “Preview: ‘Amazing Spider-Man’ #1000 Second Printing Covers“), but they were still caught short on release day, September 30, and had to allocate nine covers. - Ed McGuinness Foil variant
- Paco Medina Muppets variant
- Humberto Ramos variant
- Marcos Martin variant
- Skottie Young variant
- Steve Ditko variant
