Silver Sprocket will release Fungirl Forever, a new volume featuring the popular character by Elizabeth Pich, in December. The compact 326-page volume follows Fungirl, a hardcover released in 2021, and two side stories: Vulva Viking and Fungirl: You Are Revolting. The Free Comic Book Day Comic Fungirl: Tales of a Grown-Up Nothing, released to promote the Fungirl hardcover in 2021, was the subject of a controversy after the mature title was accidentally given to a minor (see “Library Apologizes”).
The story follows the title character as she attempts to help her former boss, who’s spiraling into depression and threatened by the turtle-racing mafia.
The 6.69” x 9.06” paperback will be released on December 1.
