Pokémon GO’s Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration event will run at participating Best Buy, GameStop and Target locations in the United States from Sept. 27 at 10 a.m. through Oct. 20, 2026, at 10 p.m. local time. Trainers who visit a participating store and open Pokémon GO can receive event-themed Timed Research with Poké Balls, Pokémon encounters and additional rewards, while Mega Gengar will appear more frequently in Mega Raids with a chance to encounter Shiny Gengar. Trainers who redeem a Pokémon GO gift card purchased from Target, GameStop or Best Buy between Sept. 27 and Oct. 31 can also claim the Gengar Knit Cap avatar item, with one redemption available per account. Timed Research must be completed and its rewards claimed by Nov. 20 at 10 p.m. local time.
