Pokémon GO’s Phantump Catch Mastery event is taking place today, Sept. 26, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. local time, giving Trainers increased chances to encounter Shiny Phantump through Field Research, free Timed Research and paid Timed Research. Catching Pokémon with Nice Throws or better awards double XP and increased Candy, while Cherubi and Drifloon appear more frequently in the wild with boosted Shiny odds. Players can complete accuracy-focused Field Research and Phantump-catching Timed Research for encounters, XP and Stardust, while paid Timed Research costs $1.99 and offers additional Phantump encounters with increased Shiny chances. A Phantump Catch Mastery Ultra Ticket Box containing the event ticket and two Rare Candies is also available through the Pokémon GO Web Store for $1.99, with all Timed Research tasks and rewards expiring at 8 p.m. local time.
