James Tynion IV’s production house, Tiny Onion, will be returning to New York Comic Con again from Thursday, October 8, through Sunday, October 11, with their third appearance at the popular convention. The team will be setting up their large 20×20 booth in the same location in Artist Alley (Booth #HB907) as last year and will be selling over 23 new products, including an exclusive variant of Something is Killing the Children #50 with a black and white cover by Frank Miller, an early release of the highly-anticipated novel Something is Killing the Children: Hope is a Knife, and a special cloth cover edition of their first children’s book, Crumbs: A Very Bad Elf, a holiday horror story, originally published in DSTLRY’s Through the Boughs: A Yuletide Offering.
The company will also be offering new products from the Eisner Award-nominated and indie breakout hit, Exquisite Corpses. Tiny Onion has arranged for a full slate of programming, including panels and signings, and they will be debuting the fifth and final issue of their fan-favorite newspaper, Tiny Onion Presents. Fans can pick up past issues at the booth to collect all five.
At this year’s NYCC, Tynion will be joined for signings, panels, and more by Tiny Onion writers and artists such as Something is Killing the Children co-creator Werther Dell’Edera, Exquisite Corpses co-creator Michael Walsh, The Department of Truth co-creator Martin Simmonds, Something is Killing the Children: Hope is a Knife co-writer Kiersten White, The Nice House on the Lake co-creator Álvaro Martínez Bueno, as well as Tate Brombal (Everything Dead & Dying, House of Slaughter, The Perfectly Monstrous Life of Adam Frankenstein), Tyler Boss (You’ll Do Bad Things, Exquisite Corpses: Rascal Randy), Pornsak Pichetshote (Exquisite Corpses: Lone Gunman), Che Grayson (Exquisite Corpses: Fox Mask Killer), Joshua Hixson (The Deviant, The Department of Truth), Julio Anta (Beast of Borikén), Soo Lee (The Perfectly Monstrous Life of Adam Frankenstein), Jacob Phillips (Everything Dead & Dying), and Adam Gorham (Exquisite Corpses: Fox Mask Killer).
This year’s NYCC Tiny Onion panels include one dedicated to Exquisite Corpses: The Game, the tabletop card game tied to the bestselling comic book series, which was a smash hit on Kickstarter this year and is still available for late pledges. The team will also be bringing back fan-favorite panels “Frightening and Fantastic Worlds of James Tynion IV,” a discussion of all the series and projects from Tynion featuring A-list talent, and “Layer by Layer: Building Tiny Onion,” a conversation about the prestigious production house which has been expanding into multimedia entertainment such as film, television, and games. Tynion and the team will also be participating in BOOM! Studios’ panel about Something is Killing the Children, which will explore the universe co-created by Tynion and Dell’Edera and include a conversation about the Something is Killing the Children: Hope Is a Knife novel as well as the upcoming crossover with DC, Swamp Thing is Killing the Children.
Tiny Onion will be hosting Rascal Randy photo opportunities during NYCC. Fans can meet the man, the myth, the bunny in the fur suit from the deadly and exciting world of Exquisite Corpses. Rascal Randy is one of the favorite killers from the bestselling hit series co-created by Tynion and Walsh, whose origin story is explored in the new spin-off series Exquisite Corpses: Rascal Randy.
For Retailer Day, Tiny Onion is providing sneak peeks to retailers of what’s ahead for the production house in 2026, 2027, and beyond. The company will also be sharing exclusive gifts with retailers to take back to their communities.

The final issue of Tiny Onion Presents will feature a front page illustrated by Courtney Menard with a towering Grim Reaper, heralding the end of the physical newspaper, at least for now. It’s a perfectly fitting illustration since T.O.P. #5 will be focused on Victorian death rituals. The issue will be available for one dollar ($1.00 USD) at the vintage newspaper stands inside the Tiny Onion booth. It will contain fan-favorite sections including interviews, Horror-scopes, Sunday Scaries and more! This may be the last issue of T.O.P., but Tiny Onion isn’t getting out of the newspaper business just yet. Keep your eyes peeled for more news.
