Dynamite Entertainment and Archie Comics are teaming up for a supernatural crossover: Sabrina the Teenage Witch X Vampirella, by writer Tini Howard and longtime Archie Comics artists Bill Galvan and Ben Galvan. The series starts with Sabrina and Salem heading to a beachside town for a housesitting vacation, but there’s not much time for sunbathing when their new neighbor Vampirella calls them into action to help her face her latest antagonist. Dynamite will launch the series in December 2026 with covers by Eric Powell, Francesco Francavilla, Sebastián Píriz, and Mike Rooth, as well as an homage cover by the Galvans and a mystery blind bag with rare variants.
“I love Vampi — as a goth girl growing up her look and vibe was always important to me. I think Nancy Collins’ work was some of the first I ever read about her and I love her voice under Nancy’s pen — smart and curious but also clever and funny in a very cool way,” Howard said in a statement accompanying the announcement. “As for Sabrina, Chilling Adventures is one of those comics that inspired me so much, I had no idea that kind of reinvention was possible. Getting to write a version of Sabrina that is an exploration of her dark powers with the look of a classic Archie beach party is so much fun.”
Dynamite will launch another crossover miniseries, Archie X Terminator, on October 14 (see “Archie X Terminator”).
