The ground is trembling, with a towering weekend of pre-orders for Games Workshop. For Warhammer: Age of Sigmar, the Sons of Behemat are on the march with some very large reinforcements and releases.

Ma Maegran, Chooser of the Mighty brings magical talents to forces, while her pair of Ancient Ghyrochs gore nearby prey before they can get within arm’s reach of their titanic shepherd.

Boss-stompers take a more serious and disciplined approach to warfare, by Gargant standards. Their obsession with real fighting skill makes them particularly dangerous foes, adept at clubbing enemies into the dirt.

This box contains three Boss-stompers who can alternately be built as Rock-hurlers – Gargants that prefer to keep their distance and, as their name suggests, hurl rocks. The three Rock-hurlers also make up the new Spearhead army for the Sons of Behemat.

Stomper Tribe allows you to start, or expand, your force. It contains a monstrous Warstomper Mega-Gargant and three Mancrusher Gargants. The army is based around a horde of smaller Gargants following in the wake of the Warstomper, gaining powerful boons and a smidge of the warlord’s attention while hanging around his impressive bigness.

The Warstomper can alternatively be built as a Gatebreaker or Kraken-eater Mega-Gargant, while the Mancrushers come with a variety of cosmetic options making them easy to customise. The Stomper Tribe boxed set is only available while stocks last.

You get two complete Mega-Gargants that can each be built as a Warstomper, Gatebreaker, or Kraken-Eater – with rules for all three – as well as a brand new set of ruined Embergard terrain to fight around.

The Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game – Battlehosts helps you start a new army or expand your collection. A trio of Battlehosts are coming up for pre-order. These armies are a great way to try a new faction or learn to play the game, and free downloadable rules on the Warhammer Community website will let you play any two Battlehost forces against each other without needing further rulebooks.

Lead your Rohan forces with King Théoden, sneak through the woods with the Legolas and the Mirkwood Battlehost, and smash through your enemies with a Dol Guldur force, commanded by Bolg.
