Dark Horse Comics will bring the library editions of Eric Powell’s The Goon back into print at a new 7″ x 10″ size beginning in 2027 under Powell’s Albatross Funnybooks imprint, the publisher announced (the first library edition collections were released at 8.3” x 12.5”). Like the first edition, The Goon Library Edition (Second Edition) Volume 1 will come in at 496 pages.
Powell brought his Albatross Funnybooks line over to Dark Horse as an imprint in 2022 (see “Eric Powell’s Albatross Moves to Dark Horse“).
The first hardcover volume of the new second editions will be released on March 2, 2027 at $59.99 MSRP. The second editions of the remaining four volumes in the library edition series, all at the new, smaller size, will be released through 2027 and 2028.
