WizKids revealed D&D Replicas of the Realms: Castle Ravenloft DM Screen, a new RPG accessory, which will release into retail in Q3 2027.
Over the course of the last decade or so, a great deal of innovation has occurred with RPG products. However, until now, not too much has been done to improve the DM screen outside of inserting new artwork or making them out of sturdier materials (see “Accessorize for Adventure, Part 1“). Out of the blue, WizKids just went off and broke the DM screen-making mold with this new offering.
The D&D Replicas of the Realms: Castle Ravenloft DM Screen allows DMs to set up an aesthetically pleasing mini-model of the walls of Castle Ravenloft (see “‘Ravenloft’“) to guard their game session secrets. The player-facing side features both a DM Dice Tower and a Player Dice Tower as well as initiative flags. The DM-facing side has compartments for dice, minis, and other components needed to play a game as well as slots to clip reference sheets and notes. It is made of premium materials and comes fully painted and ready to roll.
