Pokémon FireRed Version and Pokémon LeafGreen Version for Nintendo Switch will connect to Pokémon HOME beginning in October 2026, allowing Pokémon caught in the Kanto adventures to be transferred to other games in the series. Players who complete the FireRed and LeafGreen Pokédex will also be able to receive the Mythical Pokémon Celebi as a gift in the mobile version of Pokémon HOME, with Pokédex registrations carrying over automatically once the games are linked. After completing the main story and entering the Hall of Fame, players can also access the Mystic Ticket for Lugia and Ho-Oh and the Aurora Ticket for Deoxys. Pokémon HOME Version 4.1.0 will arrive in October as well, increasing the Premium Plan storage limit from 6,000 to 9,000 Pokémon without changing the subscription price and adding support for Pokémon caught with Safari Balls in Pokémon GO, which will become Strange Balls when transferred to Pokémon HOME. Meanwhile, Pokémon Bank will end its service on Feb. 25, 2027, at 7 p.m. PST, after which Pokémon can no longer be transferred from the Nintendo 3DS application to Pokémon HOME.
