In a lovely new showing for the Warriors of Chaos, a range of new Warhammer: The Old World sculpts has gone up for pre-order. In addition to the Champions of Chaos, Chaos Warriors, and Chaos Knights, which were previously available only in the Warhammer: The Old World Core Set, we’re finally getting the new Chaos Dragon. Fans of the brutal fantasy football game Blood Bowl are also in for a treat, as three new Big Guys are up for pre-order, along with supporting material for the game’s faster cousin: Blood Bowl Sevens.
The Chaos Dragon is a particular highlight. The kit allows you to assemble a Lord or a Sorcerer on a Chaos Dragon, or a Chaos Dragon without a rider, if you’re feeling so inclined. What’s more, whichever leader you don’t mount on the dragon, you can assemble the other on foot. This gives the Warriors of Chaos a lovely setpiece mini, allowing them to stand tall among the wide array of Old World Factions.
The latest range of pre-orders, as outlined in a recent Warhammer Community post, also includes the Champions of Chaos, a box which includes two new leaders for your army: one on foot and the other on a demonic mount. You can also assemble one of your Champions as a Battle Standard Bearer. We also have the Chaos Warriors box, which contains 16 Chaos Warriors, and the Chaos Knights box, which offers eight cavaliers. The contents of both of these boxes can be assembled as two smaller squads or one large one, depending on your preference.
There are also two new Battle March armies for Grand Cathay and Warriors of Chaos, alongside Arcane Journal: The March Of Chaos and a card pack for Arcane Magic Ploys.
In Blood Bowl land, we’ve got three Big Guys on offer. Morg ‘n’ Thorg returns with a range of different team uniforms, while the Minotaur and Rat Ogre are available in plastic for the first time ever. The new issue of Blood Bowl Spike is also available, alongside a Sevens Pitch, which, together, will allow you to play a more streamlined version of the beloved fantasy football game.
