The 2026 ENNIE award winners have been announced. Daggerheart, Crooked Moon, and Legend in the Mist all won big time.
Another year, another ENNIE season. And what a crop of nominees this year. The 2026 ENNIE nominees were an especially fine crop, I would say. Now the 2026 winners can be found on the ENNIE Awards page. Daggerheart had an especially strong showing, which isn’t that surprising. But indie titles like Legend in the Mist and SPINE and Dolmenwood picked up some big wins as well. From the big to the small, here’s who won at this year’s ENNIES.
The 2026 ENNIE Award Winners Are…
As it turns out, Legend in the Mist and Crooked Moon picked up six wins each, with Daggerheart and Darrington Press picking up a total of five, and Exalted Funeral’s Dolmenwood following close behind with four wins. A pile of sweeps, for the fantasy crowd.
Actually, fantasy in general won big throughout the night, across categories like Best Layout and Best Game and Product of the Year. Though there’s a smattering of horror and sci-fi and non-genre-specific wins as well, including SPINE and The Bonsai Dairy in the Solo Game category.

Of course, in such distinguished company even being nominated is truly a win. I would feel confident trying any of these games and expecting a good time.
