The tour of Gen Con 2026, as told through ICv2’s staff photos, begins on the Wednesday July 29, 2026.
Prior to the beginning of the actual convention itself, there were multiple media events that occurred throughout the day Wednesday. Events included in this portion of the tour include Gen Con’s Trade Day, Asmodee’s Media Event, Hachette Boardgames’s Media Event, and The Diana Jones Award Ceremony. These events set the tone for what turned out to be a buzzworthy show (see “Most Buzzworthy“).
