Riot Games offered new updates on the future of Riftbound TCG.
Last week, Riot Games announced the names and release dates for the first two Riftbound TCG sets of 2027: Legacy and The Reckoning (see “Riot Games Teases 2027 ‘Riftbound’ Lineup“). In this update, they released additional details for both sets. Legacy is a League of Legends Classic crossover set, featuring Champion Legends Ashe, Garen, Heimerdinger, Illaoi, Karma, Lux, Tryndamere, Vladimir, and others. The set will be 364 cards, and arrive on January 29, 2027.
The Reckoning showcases some of Legend of Legends’ larger champions, which include Aurelion Sol, Cho’Gath, Shyvana, Vayne, and Zilean; it hits on April 30 , 2027. They also mentioned that they eighth Riftbound TCG set involves a trip to Bandle City.
Beyond the two main booster set releases, they also announced a Gift of the Rift Bundle that will be headed to retail on December 4, 2026. This first anniversary gift box contains boosters from the first five sets of the game as well as an exclusive Akali alternate art promo. They will also have the Secret Garden Gift Box available at different events, and will be holding drawings for the Riftbound x T1 2025 Worlds Champion Collection on August 14 to 17, 2026.
