This year’s Otakon brought in 47,049 people, according to Otakorp, Inc.
This number is up 3,000 from last year’s roughly 43,000 total and tops the record-setting 46,000 for Otakon’s 30th anniversary celebration in 2024.
The attendance number includes total memberships/attendees, both pre-registered and at-door, as well as staff, dealers, artists, industry, contractors, guests, and registered press. The final number may be adjusted slightly after audits are conducted to ensure accuracy.
Thank you, everyone, for joining your fellow Otakon guild members this past weekend for another memorable, record-breaking year. Our adventure has concluded, and we hope you’ll join us for a spooky summer celebration, August 6-8, 2027.
-Victoria MacEntee, the 2026 Otakon Con Chair
