Adventure calls in Pathfinder: The Dead God’s Hand; revisit the lost Sanctum of Aroden, and bear witness to the birth of the current era.

The age of Lost Omens began with the death of Aroden, god of humanity. Now, your party has a chance to see his life and visit a hidden chamber beneath the city at the center of the world in The Dead God’s Hand, a new adventure based on the Paizo “office campaign.”

Pathfinder’s The Dead God’s Hand

This is a new adventure inspired by the Paizo Office campaign, as run by Erik Mona. It’ll take a party from levels 1-6 as they delve beneath the streets of Absalom City. There, in the secret Sanctum of Aroden, a “phantasmagoric” test awaits.

In other words, you’ll get some cool and interesting lore uncovered along the way. That makes this is a great adventure for new players or seasoned Pathfinders alike. And with it ending at level 6, you’ll be set up for jumping into later adventures like the Bastion of Blasphemies.

“Delve into ancient secrets below the City at the Center of the World in this hardcover campaign-arc adventure for characters level 1-6! Captured by cultists somewhere in the maze of tunnels below the city of Absalom, the heroes battle their way into the long-lost Sanctum of Aroden, a legendary religious refuge sealed away from the world with the god of humanity’s death a century ago. Can the heroes pass the fabled Test of Aroden, or will they become just the latest to vanish forever into these long-lost dungeons? Based on Pathfinder Publisher Erik Mona’s multi-year, multi-group office Pathfinder campaign, The Dead God’s Hand is a deadly adventure filled with dungeon exploration, ancient mysteries, and phantasmagoric tests that see the player characters reliving events from the life of Aroden, the dead god of humanity whose death triggered the beginning of the current age!”

Personally, I’m so curious as to what the “home game” of Paizo is like. It’s a fine tradition in tabletop history. After all, folks like Mordenkainen and places like Greyhawk got their start as NPCs in home campaigns at the TSR offices. All that to say, I’m here for Paizo’s version.

This is expected out in September, so be sure to check back closer to the launch date for the player’s guide and more info!

Will you pass the test of Aroden? (Not to be confused with the test of Cayden Cailean, which involves a *lot* more ale)
